TO THE DEANSHIP OF THE FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE, BURSA ULUDAĞ UNIVERSITY
Report D, prepared after the Evaluation Visit conducted by the Veterinary Medicine Education Institutions and Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association evaluation team between November 21-25, 2022, revealed primary and secondary deficiencies. These are:
- The number of research assistants and administrative staff in the faculty is definitely insufficient and needs to be increased .
- Departments that lack faculty members should be recruited.
- The emergency clinic needs to have a shift system organized and a veterinarian employed .
- Assessment of biosecurity and waste management risks, securing of cylinders , and ensuring natural gas conversion are necessary.
- Efforts should be made to raise awareness about animal welfare .
- Efforts should be made to increase the number of animals examined at the animal hospital .
- The Department of Artificial Insemination should provide clinical services .
Considering the above evaluations , it has been unanimously decided that Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will receive FULL ACCREDITATION according to TVHEDS-SDS- III_Version until September 30, 2029 .
