Unit Job Descriptions Responsible For Cattle Sheep Goat Units

UNIT:
  • Head of Cattle, Sheep-Goat Units

 

UNIT TO WHICH IT IS ATTACHED:
  • Directorate of Animal Health and Animal Production Research and Application Center

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
  • To create and implement the necessary plans and programs to ensure that the work in the units is carried out in an orderly manner.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To be responsible for the Cattle and Sheep-Goat units. 
  • Assigning roles within the unit for the healthcare personnel under your management.
  • To identify deficiencies in the units (feed, supplies, records, vaccinations, autopsies, slaughtering, etc.) with the health personnel under their management, report them to the center director, and follow up on these processes. 
  • To implement and oversee the programs (vaccination, insemination, milking, disease control, weighing, field work, etc.) and other operations of the units. 
  • Organizing and monitoring the work schedules of staff and workers. 
  • Preparing and submitting monthly activity and revenue reports for the units under their responsibility to the central administration.
  • To follow the instructions given by the Dean's Office, the Faculty Secretariat, and the Center Director.

 

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER UNITS:
  • Poultry and Quail Units Supervisor, Meat and Dairy Unit Supervisor
