- To ensure that the tasks assigned to him/her, as well as other tasks to be assigned, are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, primarily the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018, and in line with the aims and policies of the University.
- To define the faculty's mission and vision, share them with all staff, and motivate them to achieve them.
- To chair faculty boards, implement the decisions of faculty boards, and ensure smooth operation among faculty units.
- To report to the Rector at the end of each academic year and whenever requested, on the general status and functioning of the Faculty.
- To inform the Rectorate of the faculty's budget and staffing needs, along with the justification.
- To exercise general oversight and control over the faculty's units and personnel at all levels.
- To initiate disciplinary investigations against personnel and students who engage in negative acts and behaviors contrary to the prohibitions and laws and regulations, and to send the results to the Rectorate, in accordance with the disciplinary regulations.
- As the Spending Authority, my role is to ensure the Faculty's budget is prepared and used effectively, efficiently, and economically.
- As the Unit's Spending Authority, they issue spending instructions to staff members to make expenditures from the Faculty budget. They ensure that the given spending instructions comply with the provisions of Laws, Regulations, and Legislation, and that the funds are used economically and efficiently.
- To ensure that information regarding the overall functioning and performance of the Faculty, such as the Strategic Plan, Activity Report, and audit report, is prepared in report form and distributed to the relevant parties.
- The faculty member is primarily responsible to the Rector for the rational use and development of the teaching capacity of the faculty and its affiliated units, for taking necessary security measures when required, for providing necessary social services to students, for the orderly conduct of educational, scientific research and publication activities, for the supervision and control of all activities, for monitoring and monitoring them, and for obtaining the results.
- To ensure the effective, economical, efficient, and lawful acquisition and use of movable assets, to conduct controls, to maintain transparent records through the movable asset registration and control officer, and to submit the prepared Management Account to the Rectorate.
- To ensure that education and training continue in an orderly manner within the faculty.
- To work towards making the Faculty a continuously learning organization by organizing courses, seminars, and conferences in areas needed by the Faculty's administrative and academic staff; and to develop and supervise the work plan of the Animal Health and Animal Production Research and Application Center (Farm) and the Animal Health Research and Application Center (Animal Hospital).
- To ensure that activities within the scope of duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the definitions and instructions of the existing internal control system.
- To represent the faculty at a high level. To carry out tasks and procedures related to assigned duties and other future tasks with transparency, accountability, and participation.
