BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
  • To ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy located within the faculty's animal hospital, and to coordinate the supply and storage of medicines for the pharmacy.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To work in coordination with the chief physician to supply medicines to the hospital pharmacy.
  • Classifying and storing medicines under appropriate conditions,
  • Monitoring drug stocks,   
  • Hospital staff provide the patient's family with the medications corresponding to the prescriptions written.
  • Prescription tracking and storage,
  • The procurement and cold chain storage of vaccines,  
  • To carry out tasks related to the pharmacy as deemed appropriate by the chief physician.   
  • Procurement of medicines to be used in emergency 24/7 clinical services,
  • Checking prescriptions and replacing missing medications in the 24/7 emergency clinic service.
  • Checking the expiration dates of medications,   
  • To keep the records required by the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation published by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
