First registration at the university
ARTICLE 6
( 1 ) The registration dates, necessary conditions and required documents for students registering for the first time are determined and announced by the Senate. Original or certified copies of the required documents may be accepted for registration. The criminal record certificate and the student's written statement regarding whether or not they have any military obligations are taken as the basis for registration. These documents are not requested from students who complete their registration via e-Government except in necessary cases.
( 2 ) Those who do not register for the relevant program within the specified period lose their right to register and become a university student. However, the registration of candidates who cannot register within the announced registration period due to personal reasons can be done through their legal representatives or representatives authorized by a notary or foreign representations, within the periods determined by the relevant authorities, provided that they document their excuses.
( 3 ) The registered candidate becomes a University student and enjoys student rights.
