OUR PROF.DR.CENK AYDIN ​​HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS A MEMBER OF THE PRESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURE AND FOOD POLICY BOARD

Our faculty member in the Department of Physiology, Prof. Dr. Cenk AYDIN, has been appointed as a member of the Agriculture and Food Policies Board in accordance with the 21st article of the Presidential Decree on the Presidential Organization, with the Presidency's decision numbered 2025/92 published in the Official Gazette dated April 10, 2025. We congratulate our professor with our sincere wishes.
The main duties of this board are;
  • To conduct research on food health and safety, to develop policy recommendations for the protection of food health by conducting risk analysis,
  • To develop policies to increase the supply and quality of plant and animal products,
  • To conduct research on the efficient use of water resources and to make policy recommendations for the prevention of water waste,
  • Conducting research to improve food-related production and consumption habits,
  • To conduct research and develop policy recommendations and support policies for the protection, improvement and diversification of our indigenous genetic resources in agriculture and animal husbandry,
  • To ensure the development of policies and strategies in the field of biosecurity and the monitoring of their implementation.
We sincerely believe that our teacher Prof. Dr. Cenk AYDIN ​​will make serious contributions to agricultural production, food supply security, sustainable development, safe food and agricultural policies with the duty he will undertake in this board.
