Project Topic: Development of a Lightweight Hybrid Battery Carrier and Prototype Manufacturing of a Cooling Plate for the Battery Pack
The project encompasses the development and production of a battery carrier frame, which is a component of the electric vehicle battery system, as well as the development and prototype production of a cooling plate. The project will involve the development of alternative products that include different material and joining technology solutions, in line with structural requirements for the battery carrier frame that forms the battery box. In the evaluation of alternatives, solutions that provide lightweight and cost advantages will be prioritized, alongside compliance with OEM technical specifications and international regulations. Additionally, mold and fixture development for prototype production will also be part of the project. In the development of the cooling plate, the goal is to propose alternative designs during the project, and through finite element analysis, to develop and prototype an optimal solution or solutions that meet the targeted cooling performance and structural requirements.
