Project Topic: Development of Innovative Algorithms for Battery Management Systems

In order to increase the lifespan and performance of vehicle batteries, research is being conducted not only on the chemical structures of battery cells but also on battery electronics. The algorithms to be developed within the scope of this project will allow for more accurate predictions of the state of charge and state of health, and will lead to an indirect increase in the efficiency and lifespan of batteries used in applications, along with a sensor-free temperature estimation method. The Battery Management System (BYS) to be developed with local capabilities will enable more efficient use by the Turkish automotive industry.
