A total of 8 projects will be conducted within the "Battery Technologies Research and Development Platform for Electric Vehicles," including 7 technical projects and 1 Social Impact Analysis Project. In the project, faculty members from the Automotive, Mechanical, Industrial, and Environmental Engineering Departments of Bursa Uludağ University’s Faculty of Engineering will serve as researchers for the technical projects. Faculty members from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Departments of Business, Econometrics, and Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences will serve as researchers for the Social Impact Analysis Project.
In the TÜBİTAK 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program, there are a total of 105 project staff, including 69 researchers and 36 fellows (13 PhD / 1 postdoctoral / 21 master's / 1 undergraduate).
Under the TÜBİTAK 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program, in which Bursa Uludağ University is the Managing Organization, a high-tech platform is aimed to be created for battery carrier systems and components of electric vehicles, which are in increasing demand worldwide, through collaboration between the private sector, higher education institutions, and public research infrastructures.
In our research program titled "Battery Technologies Research and Development Platform for Electric Vehicles (BATEG)," Eskişehir Technical University (Advanced Technologies Research and Application Center), TOBB University of Economics and Technology (Advanced Engineering Studies Application and Research Center), TÜBİTAK RUTE (Rail Transportation Technologies Institute), along with Coşkunöz Metal Form Makina Industry and Trade Inc., Coşkunöz Mold R&D Center, and ASAŞ R&D Center, are the executing organizations.
