Tourism and Hotel Management Program

General Information
The Tourism and Hotel Management Program provides a two-year education following high school graduation. Students are also required to complete a 30-working-day internship in relevant professional fields. All compulsory courses listed in the curriculum must be successfully taken and passed. In addition to compulsory courses, students must also take elective courses during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th semesters. To graduate, students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.
Program Objectives
The aim of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program is to train individuals who possess the fundamental skills of hotel management, supported by both theoretical and practical education. The program seeks to equip students with entrepreneurial qualities, effective communication skills, and the ability to use computer programs related to their field.
Career Opportunities for Graduates
Graduates of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program are employed in accommodation enterprises, food and beverage establishments, and public institutions and organizations providing hospitality services.
Vertical Transfer to Undergraduate Programs
Graduates who wish to continue their studies may directly transfer to the Open Education Faculty without an entrance exam. In addition, depending on the scores obtained in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and subject to quotas, they may also transfer to the following undergraduate programs:
