ZİDEK ACCREDITATION PROCESS AT THE BUÜ DEPARTMENT OF BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING

The Department of Biosystems Engineering is committed to educating individuals who are equipped with up-to-date and practice-oriented knowledge in their fields, possess strong research and problem-solving skills, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have a broad cultural background and effective communication skills. The Department is also committed to providing high-quality education, conducting research and practical activities, serving society, and contributing to national development through the generation, acquisition, and dissemination of knowledge. In line with these objectives, the Department applied to ZİDEK in January 2022 and initiated the accreditation process.

The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Agricultural Faculties Educational Programs (ZİDEK) is an independent organization that conducts accreditation, evaluation, and information activities for educational programs offered by Faculties of Agriculture across various disciplines. Its primary objective is to contribute to improving the quality of agricultural engineering education.
