The ABET Process at the Department of Biosystems Engineering, BUÜ

ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.) is a non-governmental organization that accredits higher education programs in applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. Our Department places great importance on the evaluation and accreditation of its engineering education by an independent international accreditation body. Accordingly, the Biosystems Engineering Program was accredited by ABET from 2013 to 2016. Due to circumstances beyond the Department’s control, the ABET accreditation process was discontinued in December 2016.
