Erasmus+ KA2 Application Requirements

Bursa Uludağ University Erasmus+ KA2 Application Requirements

The following points will be taken into consideration for Erasmus+ KA2 applications made by our university. These points will be valid from 1 January 2026.

Mandatory Conditions
1. Evaluations will be conducted by the Project Development and Coordination Office (Project Office) of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ). Therefore, the relevant Externally Funded Project application form must be completed at least six weeks prior to the application deadline. In addition, supporting documents containing the criteria related to the Ranking Score (SP), as detailed below, must be sent to the email address proje@uludag.edu.tr.
2. In Erasmus+ KA2 projects, quotas are applied in areas other than higher education level (HED). According to the quota application, an institution can apply for a maximum of 10 (ten) projects with the same Organization ID (OID) number. Therefore, BUÜ undertakes not to apply for more than 10 projects in the coordinator or partner position. Similarly, applicant institutions/organizations offering partnership to BUÜ must undertake not to apply for more than ten projects and to ensure that other partners comply with this rule.
If the specified quota of 10 is filled, applications for projects on the reserve list may be submitted through the TTO, provided that the same application criteria apply. The legal representative of projects submitted through the TTO is the university rector.
3. Regardless of whether they hold a coordinator or partner position, only one project from an institution that is a partner of BUÜ will be evaluated. The same institution cannot be a partner in more than one project with BUÜ. Partners that are universities and public institutions may be exempt from this criterion.
4. The declaration of honor and accession form must be submitted for approval to the legal representative (Rector). BUÜ reserves all legal rights, including withdrawal from the partnership structure, in relation to projects submitted without the signature of the legal representative.
5. The application process must be completed and uploaded to the Erasmus+ (Webgate) system one week prior to the application deadline. Projects on the reserve list will be considered in place of incomplete applications.
Ranking Score
The evaluation of the quota ranking of projects that meet the mandatory conditions within the applications is based on the "Ranking Score (RS)." The impact of the following criteria is added in the calculation of the RS.
The ranking points for projects that meet the mandatory requirements in the quota application are as follows:
  • Have previously applied to a national agency, undergone assessment, and obtained a score of at least 70 or above. +6
  • Preferably at the beginning of their academic career (academic staff/members who have completed their doctorate within the last 5 years) and supporting project leaders applying for the first time +2
  • To have received panel and mentor support from the Project Office +4
  • Establishing partnerships with accredited institutions such as public institutions and organizations +3
  • If the partnership structure includes companies, associations, trade centers, etc., these organizations must demonstrate that they have participated in at least two European Union (EU) projects in the last five years. +2
  • Among the projects submitted, provided that they are ranked according to project type (VET, SCH, ADU, etc.), to have the highest budget allocated to BUÜ. +2
