Mission and Principles
To train Food Engineers who aim to reach contemporary knowledge in their field, possess communication and research skills, have problem-solving abilities, maintain professional ethics, embrace Atatürk’s principles and reforms, and love their profession and country.

Vision
To be a program that, by adopting qualified education and training as a principle and applying modern technology, is recognized at national and international platforms, trains enterprising, innovative, research-oriented, and exemplary individuals in its field, guides producers and industrial organizations, analyzes problems in these areas and provides scientific solutions, contributes to the constantly developing society while offering quality services, and is cited as an example for the individuals it educates and the knowledge it produces.

Goals
  • Training engineers and researchers who are experts in their field for the food industry and public institutions and are successful in human relations.
  • Having an educational program that is universally preferred.
  • Training individuals who are capable of carrying out production, design, research, and projects aimed at seeking solutions to problems encountered in the industry.
  • Ensuring that the knowledge gained through the education provided can be applied in practice, decision-making, and creative skills.
  • Imparting the ability to examine scientific phenomena with an analytical and in-depth perspective, interpret them, and determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses.
  • Training engineers who are successful in human relations and uphold ethical values.
