Quality Commission

The academic and administrative units of the university form Quality Commissions, which are responsible for the quality assurance work. The senior manager of each unit is the Quality Representative of that unit. The Quality Commissions consist of the heads of sections, departments, or branches of art, the secretary of the academic unit, at least one lecturer responsible for compiling the data, and a student representative.

 

           The working principles and duties of the Quality Commission are as follows:

  1. Quality Commissions meet at least twice each academic year. Apart from this, the commission convenes upon the call of the senior manager.
  2. Quality Commission of Academic Units works closely with the Academic Performance Evaluation Commission. The Academic Performance Evaluation Commission submits the Performance Internal Evaluation Report to this commission.
  3. Quality Commission Administrative Units operates within the framework of the coordination to be provided by the Quality Coordinator. These commissions submit the Unit Performance Internal Evaluation Report to the Quality Coordinator.
  4. Conducts internal evaluation studies in line with the procedures and principles determined by the Quality Commission and prepares a Unit Performance Internal Evaluation Report in line with the information coming from the program/section/department in academic units.
  5. In academic and administrative units, it carries out all kinds of studies in line with the strategic plan and objectives of the unit and the institution, to evaluate the academic and administrative services, to improve the quality and to approve the quality level, and to be successful in the national and international rating studies of the institution. These studies give all kinds of support to the Quality Commission, Academic Performance Evaluation Commission, and Quality Coordinator.
  6. Makes the necessary preparations for the academic and administrative units in the external evaluation studies of the university, and provides all kinds of support to the external evaluation institution, organization, or board
  7. Announces the decisions of The Quality Commission to the relevant program/departments of the relevant unit, monitors its practices, and monitors the results of these practices.
  8. Provides necessary contributions to reports prepared by the Quality Commission for the Higher Education Quality Board, such as Bursa Uludağ University Performance Evaluation Report and other reports.
