Child Development Program Introduction

Child Development Program Introduction
The Child Development Program is a comprehensive educational program designed to train qualified assistant educators who will support the healthy development of children aged 0–6 and actively contribute to their educational processes. Today, supporting children’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development is only possible through high-quality early childhood education. Our program aims to equip students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in this vital field.
Program Content
Students in the Child Development Program receive both theoretical and practical training. Courses are delivered in our own building, designed according to modern educational principles. Throughout the program, students learn to:
✔️ Acquire fundamental theoretical knowledge in child development and education
✔️ Plan and implement activities appropriate to different developmental stages
✔️ Use play-based learning methods and establish effective communication with children and families
✔️ Apply basic approaches to support children with special needs
✔️ Understand the operation and management of early childhood education institutions
✔️ Conduct developmental observation, assessment, and documentation processes
During their education, students gain professional experience through internships in practice preschools, kindergartens, and various institutions.
Facilities and Practical Opportunities
Our program provides students with well-equipped classrooms and practice areas to enhance their professional skills. Through collaborations with local preschools and daycare centers in the Yenişehir district, students actively participate in the field. As a result, our graduates possess both strong theoretical knowledge and extensive hands-on experience.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the program can work in the following areas:
Preschools and early childhood institutions – as assistant educators supporting teachers
Daycare centers and nurseries – facilitating activities that support children’s development
Hospital children’s wards and playrooms – providing play-based support for children
Graduates receive the title of “Child Development Technician.” They are more knowledgeable than a basic technician and provide strong support to teachers in practical applications.
