University of Jember, Indonesia, Visits BUU

A delegation from the University of Jember in Indonesia visited the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bursa Uludağ University on October 24, 2025.

 

The visiting delegation included Prof. Dr. Novi Puspitasari, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business; Dr. Selfi Budi Helpiastuti, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Political and Social Science; Marisa W. Christyanti, Consul for Information, Social and Cultural Affairs at the Consulate General of Indonesia in Istanbul; and Wira Hadi Kusuma, Staff for Media, Social and Cultural Affairs.

The meeting was hosted by Prof. Dr. Kadir Yasin Eryiğit, Dean of the Faculty, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kader Özlem, Faculty Coordinator for International Academic Relations. The parties discussed potential avenues for academic cooperation in common fields.

The institutional relationship between BUU and the University of Jember was first formalized in 2024 through a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between BUU Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Study Program of Mathematics, Postgraduate Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Jember. Since then, the cooperation has expanded to include new academic units.

With four separate MoU's currently in effect with Indonesian universities, BUU continues to diversify its academic ties with the country. In line with its internationalization strategy, BUU embraces a multidimensional approach to global engagement and continues to strengthen its institutional connections worldwide through its 360-degree academic outreach vision.
