About IARO

The International Academic Relations Office functions as the central unit responsible for implementing and coordinating internationalisation efforts across the institution. It contributes to the formulation and execution of international strategies through structured planning and cooperation with academic and administrative departments.

Key areas of responsibility include managing international bilateral agreements, coordinating student and staff mobility programs such as Erasmus+, Secondos, and Orhun, and maintaining institutional communication with partner universities and research organizations abroad. Efforts are also directed toward increasing the university’s global visibility through targeted outreach and engagement activities.

By assessing and developing strategic partnerships, the office supports the institution’s role in international academic collaboration and facilitates access to meaningful international experiences for both students and staff.
