Establishment:
The International Academic Advisory Board was established in June 2024 to support Bursa Uludağ University’s internationalization efforts. The board consists of 10 academic members nominated based on recommendations received from faculty deans.
Purpose:
The main objective of the International Academic Advisory Board is to contribute to the university’s internationalization strategies and provide guidance throughout the process. Members are expected to offer recommendations on international relations, collaboration opportunities, and the adaptation of academic programs to international standards, based on the experience they have gained at their home institutions. The board will guide the university in taking strategic steps to play a more active role within international academic networks.
Roles and Contributions of the Advisory Board:

Provide consultancy aligned with the university’s internationalization goals.

Offer suggestions on international cooperation opportunities, joint projects, and exchange programs.

Evaluate the alignment of BUU’s academic programs with international standards and provide relevant recommendations.

Share successful internationalization strategies implemented at their home institutions to help integrate best practices at BUU.

Support increased participation in international academic networks and enhance the university’s global visibility.
