INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ABROAD THROUGH IAESTE FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Faculties of Engineering, Architecture, and Arts and Sciences at our University are provided with the opportunity to undertake internships abroad through the IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) International Internship Exchange Programme.
Important information for students wishing to apply is provided below:
1. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and must be enrolled in at least their second year of undergraduate studies.
2. Applicants must have achieved a score of at least 70 out of 100 in one of the foreign language proficiency examinations recognized by Bursa Uludağ University or ÖSYM (the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center of Türkiye). Accepted examinations include the Foreign Language Examination for Bursa Uludağ University Exchange Programmes, Bursa Uludağ University Language Examination (BUÜDS), YÖKDİL, YDS, e-YDS, and other examinations recognized by ÖSYM. In addition to meeting the minimum score requirement, applicants' speaking proficiency will also be assessed. Students who fail to achieve the minimum foreign language score of 70 will not be included in the list of candidate students.
3. English proficiency is mandatory. In addition to English, applicants may also submit examination results for other foreign languages. Students with a good command of one or more foreign languages other than English may submit supporting documents certifying their proficiency. These documents will be included in the candidate student list.
4. Applicants must have taken their foreign language proficiency examination within the last two years. For the 2027 application period, only examination results obtained from October 2025 onwards will be accepted.

Individual applications submitted directly to the IAESTE Türkiye National Office will not be accepted.
7. Following the evaluation of applications, the list of candidate students prepared by our University will be forwarded to the IAESTE Türkiye National Office (Istanbul Technical University – ITU). The number of available internship placements allocated to our University will be determined by the IAESTE Türkiye National Office.
