The I. National Symposium on Performing and Visual Arts took place at the Prof. Dr. M. Mete Cengiz Cultural Center on November 11-12, 2024. The event was a collaborative effort between Bursa Uludağ University's Department of Performing Arts, the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and the Bursa Foundation for Culture, Arts and Tourism.
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI participated in the event titled 'Theater Talks in the Black Sea Region' with a presentation titled 'Music in the Art of Theater.' Organized by the Trabzon University State Conservatory, Department of Performing Arts, the event was broadcast live on the University's television channel on November 25, 2021.
On January 18, 2021, Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI delivered a speech titled 'Factors Affecting Voice Quality in Humans' at a webinar organized as part of the 'Community Service Practices' course at Balıkesir University, Necatibey Faculty of Education.
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI organized a workshop on
'Healthy and High-Quality Voice' for the artists of the
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality City Theater and served as the
workshop coordinator.
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI delivered a presentation titled
'Basic Vocal Training for Speech and Language Therapists' at the
Voice Istanbul International Conference and served as a
workshop instructor.
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI delivered a presentation at the
Uludağ ENT Days (Otolaryngology Conference).
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI served as a workshop instructor on the topic 'Human Voice from Anatomical and Pedagogical Perspectives' at the UBIAT Medical Congress.
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI delivered a presentation titled
'Voice Therapy: High-Quality and Correct Voice Usage' and served as a workshop instructor at a seminar organized by the
Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Theology, Recitation Society (Kıraat Topluluğu).
Prof. Dr. Ayhan HELVACI participated as an
invited speaker at the
International Congress of Performing Arts and Education and took part in the
workshop activities.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Tülay YILDIZ AKGÜL served as the coordinator of the seminar titled 'Learning Through Play,' organized at Altınşehir Schools.
On January 10, 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tülay YILDIZ AKGÜL delivered a speech titled 'Gender Equality Through the Eyes of Youth' at a youth forum hosted by Bursa Rotary Clubs.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Tülay YILDIZ AKGÜL served as a
member of the artistic committee at the
25th Bursa International Children and Youth Theatre Festival, held on
November 13-17, 2021, where she also conducted a workshop titled
'The Path to Speech in Children's Theatre: The Relationship Between Actor, Image, and Object.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pelin ELCİK YORGANCIOĞLU participated in the training sessions organized as part of the Ege University Career Talks with presentations titled 'Physical Expression Training in the Context of Dance, Movement, and Theater' and 'Dance Education Through Interdisciplinary Practice.'

The screening of the documentary titled 'A Success Story' (Bir Başarı Hikayesi), which depicts the life of Bekir Okan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Okan University, and features the screenplay design by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mine ARTU MUTLUGÜN, was held at the Bekir Okan Congress and Culture Center on the Okan University Akfırat Campus.
