The “Welcome to the Department” Orientation Event, organized by the Bursa Uludağ University GUID Student Society in collaboration with our Department, was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Uğur Mumcu Hall.
The event brought together first-year students and students who recently joined our department through undergraduate transfer. During the program, students were introduced to our academic staff and undergraduate curriculum. Information was also shared about the university’s academic, social, and cultural opportunities, campus life, student societies, and various aspects of studying Guidance and Psychological Counseling.
The orientation aimed to support new students’ adjustment to university life, help them become more familiar with the department, and provide an opportunity to ask questions. The event also created a welcoming environment for students and academic staff to meet and interact.
At the end of the program, students received commemorative mugs as welcome gifts.
We sincerely thank the GUID Student Society for their efforts in organizing the event and extend our warmest welcome to all new students, wishing them a successful and rewarding university experience.
