KEY DATES AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The key dates for the Teaching Practice courses offered by our Faculty during the 2025–2026 Spring Semester are outlined below.
During the first week, supervising faculty members will visit the placement schools together with the student teachers and hold an introductory meeting. UOD system entries will begin in the second week and will cover the 12-week practice period, excluding the first and final weeks.
All teaching practice activities will be conducted in accordance with the Directive on Teaching Practice to Be Undertaken by Student Teachers in Educational Institutions Affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

Formation and announcement of teaching practice groups. Meeting between the supervising faculty members and student teachers at the Faculty. Planning the initial visit to the placement schools. Preparation of semester-long practice plans for student teachers at the placement schools. |

UOD entries will begin this week. Commencement of the 12-week teaching practice period. Classroom observations and teaching practice activities at placement schools; submission of activity reports to supervising faculty members. |

Eid al-Fitr holiday and mid-term break in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. No UOD entries will be made during this week. |
| 23 March–22 May 2026 |
Continuation of classroom observations and teaching practice activities at placement schools, with activity reports submitted to supervising faculty members. |
| 25–29 May 2026 |
Eid al-Adha holiday. No UOD entries will be made during this week. |
| 1–5 June 2026 |
Continuation of classroom observations and teaching practice activities at placement schools, with activity reports submitted to supervising faculty members. Evaluation of school experience activities and completion of the course. |
Note: Student teachers are expected to complete their 12-week teaching practice at their placement schools between 23 February and 5 June 2026. According to our University's academic calendar, 12 June 2026 is the official end date of the courses. Students may use the final week to review and evaluate their practice with their supervising faculty members and, where necessary, make up any outstanding practice hours at their placement schools.
Required Contents of the Practice File
At the end of the course, student teachers are required to submit a practice file to their supervising faculty member containing the following documents:
- Weekly activity reports
- Lesson plans
- Worksheets and activity sheets
- Assessment materials used at the end of lessons
- Peer assessment forms
- Self-assessment forms
- Written feedback provided by the cooperating teacher, where applicable
- General assessment forms
- Weekly class timetable
- Semester attendance sheet, signed weekly by the cooperating teachers and bearing the school principal's original signature and official stamp
