To be a Vocational School that provides a high-quality associate degree education in programs affiliated with its Technical, Art, and Social Departments, equipped with the knowledge, equipment, and infrastructure required by the age and the conditions of a globalizing world; that utilizes international knowledge, continuously develops and progresses with increasing momentum; contributes to society at national and universal levels; is recognized as a model institution through the people it educates with foresight, broad and advanced vision, and the knowledge it produces; and is an institution that its members are proud to belong to.

The mission of the institution is to carry out education, research, cultural and artistic activities, and community service responsibilities in accordance with universal standards; to access, produce, apply, and disseminate knowledge for the social, cultural, economic, scientific, and technological development of our nation and humanity.

İZNİK VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Our İznik Vocational School began its education and training activities as well as the development of İznik tile art and R&D (Research and Development) studies with the Tile Craft Program in the 1995–1996 academic year. In 1999, it incorporated the Ceramics Program, and in 2000, the Restoration-Conservation Program, continuing its educational activities. In 2006, the Vocational School moved to its current campus located in the Üyücek area of İznik. Currently, it has four departments: Food Processing, Architecture and Urban Planning, Travel-Tourism and Entertainment Services, and Handicrafts. Under these departments, there are six programs: Food Technology, Surveying and Cadastre, Architectural Restoration, Tourism Guidance, Tile Art and Design, and Ceramic and Glass Design. The Tourism Guidance Program has received Full Accreditation for six years by TURAK.
Our Vocational School has a total area of 35,278 m², of which 4,014 m² is indoor space. The İznik campus hosts 10 classrooms and 6 laboratories: Computer, Food, Restoration, Ornamentation, and Glass, along with 1 Ceramic, Glass, and Tile Workshop. In addition, the campus provides services to students through a canteen, library, dining hall, and rest areas.
To date, our Vocational School has graduated 2,403 students and currently serves 768 students, with a staff of 15 academic members (2 Associate Professors, 5 Lecturer-Doctorates, 9 Lecturers) and 14 administrative personnel (9 Contracted, 5 Permanent). Our academic staff offers students high-quality, practice-oriented education with both scientific and sectoral experience.
Through cooperation agreements signed with various institutions and enterprises, the school provides students with practical training, internships, and scholarship opportunities. Our graduates, benefiting from these strong sectoral connections, are employed in relevant fields and actively join the workforce.
