In the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, in the elective Welding Technology course offered in the Mechanical Engineering program, 10 students who took the course learned how to weld using a gas welding machine and how to use cutting machines and hand tools in our college's welding workshop after receiving theoretical welding technology training at the beginning of the semester. Subsequently, as a group project, they manufactured 4 metal picnic tables for use in our College's garden. Additionally, each student individually produced 10 coat hangers for faculty members in the College classrooms. The relevant products will be painted and have their wooden parts constructed before being used in the College garden and classrooms.
