About the Textile Technology Program

Program History and Purpose: İnegöl Vocational School was established in 1995, affiliated with Bursa Uludağ University, to train qualified personnel needed by the industry. The Textile Technology Program began its educational activities with the establishment of our Vocational School. The program aims to train Textile Technicians who are equipped to use appropriate computer programs, identify fibers and tissues, process them using today's technology, apply occupational health and safety regulations in their professional lives, and keep up with innovations related to their profession.

Internship and Workplace Training: The educational process is supported by industrial internships. Students participate in a 30-day "Summer Internship" during the summer transition from Year 1 to Year 2, and in a "Workplace Training" course during Year 2, allowing them to work with industrial organizations. In Year 2, students spend two days a week in a factory as part of the "Workplace Training" course. Practical courses such as internships and Workplace Training are conducted in relevant factories in the region. Seminars, conferences, and meetings are organized with experts from official and private institutions, and social and technical trips are organized to provide our students with an opportunity to learn about the industry and business world and to develop their knowledge, skills, and talents.

Employment Opportunities: When students in the İnegöl Textile Technology Program begin their careers, they can easily find employment as "Textile Technicians," among the most needed intermediate positions in the sector. They can work as department heads in any field of textiles.

Vertical Transfer Opportunities: Graduates of the program can transfer to the following undergraduate programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by ÖSYM:
