About The Foreign Trade Department

Program Objectives: The Foreign Trade program aims to develop individuals who can work as intermediate staff, assistant managers, or mid-level managers in the foreign trade departments of private and public enterprises; as assistant customs consultants with a B certificate in customs consultancies; open and operate their own foreign trade businesses; work in the foreign exchange departments of banks; and serve as operations officers in international logistics companies. They can effectively use communication technologies, generate creative ideas, and excel in social interactions.

Internship and Workplace Training: By experiencing foreign trade transactions firsthand and the workings of companies and workplaces, students will develop professional competencies and understand the expectations for their post-graduation positions. They will also be able to present themselves to job applications with a thorough understanding of the process and present a confident, well-equipped, and confident profile during interviews. The program includes a 30-day compulsory summer internship. All students enrolled in the program are required to complete an internship. Additionally, there are elective courses, Workplace Training I and II, which allow students to observe and practice in the workplace two days a week for two semesters. Students can complete internships and workplace training in public and private institutions related to the program.
