The Primary School Mathematics Teaching Program operates with a team comprising 6 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Research Assistants, and 1 Project Assistant. The program accommodates approximately 300 students at the undergraduate level. The primary objective of the undergraduate program is to provide prospective primary school mathematics teachers with essential knowledge and skills related to their field and pedagogical formation for teaching at the middle school level.
Courses are conducted in classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors. Additionally, practical exercises are carried out in the mathematics classroom belonging to the Department of Mathematics Education.
Our students undertake internships at middle schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education within the framework of the Teaching Practice I-II courses.
Graduates are qualified to work as Primary School Mathematics Teachers in middle schools under the Ministry of National Education. Moreover, they have the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in mathematics education through the graduate and doctoral programs offered by the Institute of Educational Sciences.
