Mechanistic and synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry. Development of new methods for organic synthesis, with particular emphasis on physical-organic studies of reactivity and selectivity.  Effect of factors as substituents, solvents, concentration and catalysts on the diastereoselectivity of organic reactions. Rearrangement reactions. Stereoselective synthesis of natural products.
