BURSA ULUDAĞ UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING SOCIETY

Guidance and Psychological Counseling Society was founded in 2008 by the faculty members and students of Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. The community, which started its activities with counseling students, has increased its participation area over time and expanded the target audience of its activities. It has contributed to students' and field staff's personal and professional development with its activities in this direction. Since its establishment, our community has held numerous trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, orientation activities, and three large-scale counseling summits organized in 2017-2018-2019. In addition to its contributions to students' career goals, our community supports the socialization of its members through social projects and social events it organizes. The activities of our community, which increase their daily activities, continue actively.

AIM

As the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Society, our aim is to provide students who enter our department as psychological counselors who have guidance and psychological counseling knowledge, skills, and attitudes, who know and apply the ethical rules of the profession, who follow the developments in their profession, research, question and think critically, and who know how to deal with the problems they encounter. and to contribute to becoming guidance counselors. In line with these views, our community organizes summits, trainings, workshops, seminars, social projects, trips, introductory dinners, etc. Its activities aim to ensure that its members have the best time possible from the time they enter the university until they graduate so that students can easily participate in life professionally and individually, ready for life.

VISION

In addition to providing an excellent university environment to our member students and helping them create a strong professional future on all kinds of platforms, we also contribute to the development and prestige of our university at the national and international levels in the fields of education, science, and research, follow the studies carried out in our field and produce new studies together with them. To provide beneficial services to our country, science, and humanity by performing them under the umbrella of Bursa Uludağ University.

MISSION

Our aim is to be a center that integrates our students, our department's academics, and our university with the counseling field and provides the climate that best prepares them for working life. Our aim is to bring together our member students with academicians, psychological counselors, psychologists, and researchers working in the field of counseling on a common platform and enable them to gain knowledge from their studies and experiences. In this regard, our aim is to support students in following the activities carried out by our community and to help their development during their education period and after graduation with the activities carried out.
