The 9th International Early Childhood Education Congress, held between October 27–30, 2025, with the theme “Bringing Together the Missing Pieces in Early Childhood,” attracted great interest with its rich academic content, high participation rate, and vibrant environment of scientific exchange.
A Rich Academic Program and Broad Participation
The congress featured 568 oral presentations, 7 poster sessions, 4 keynote speakers, 3 panels, and 16 workshops. All submissions were meticulously reviewed by 61 expert referees before being included in the program.
Throughout the congress, current priorities in early childhood education—such as inclusive education approaches, family and community collaboration, teacher training, digitalization, and innovative teaching methods—were discussed from a wide range of perspectives.
Congress Organizing Committee
Preparations for the congress began nearly a year in advance under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nalan Kuru, who chaired the Organizing Committee. The committee members included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Bağçeli Kahraman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meral Taner Derman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elvan Şahin Zeteroğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuray Koç, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sema Nur Güngör, Dr. Muhammed Muzaffer Özhan, Res. Asst. Gülden Altın Yöntem, Res. Asst. İmran Çağlayan, and Instr. Hasan Er.
The congress secretariat consisted of Instr. Alparslan Ünsal, Hüsniye Demiral Müminoğlu, and Türkan Bengisu Kumlay. The organization process was successfully carried out with the devoted support of our volunteer students, whose contributions were greatly appreciated.
A Platform for Scientific and Professional Exchange
Hosted by Bursa Uludağ University, the congress served as a significant scientific platform that brought together academics, teachers, and students to strengthen knowledge exchange in early childhood education.
This comprehensive event provided participants with a rich academic and professional experience, offering opportunities to share new ideas, research collaborations, and practical applications.
