FIRST CONCERT BY THE BURSA FLUTE ENSEMBLE: THEY PERFORMED AT THE NOVEMBER 24 TEACHERS’ DAY PROGRAM
The newly established Bursa Flute Ensemble gave its first official performance at the “November 24 Teachers’ Day” program organized by the Bursa Governorship and the Provincial Directorate of National Education. The ensemble presented a program specially prepared to reflect the meaning and significance of Teachers’ Day.
Founded by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ajda Şenol Sakin, a faculty member of the Music Education Department at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Education, and Esin Filiz, a flute teacher at Zeki Müren Fine Arts High School, the Bursa Flute Ensemble brings together their students. Aiming to unite young flutists in the region, the ensemble offered an important example of collaboration by sharing the same stage for the first time in Bursa with students from different educational institutions.
The ensemble aims to organize concerts that will contribute to Bursa’s cultural and artistic life in the future and to increase its number of members. Continuing its journey with efforts to support students’ musical development and to enrich the city’s artistic diversity, the Bursa Flute Ensemble is set to grow and expand its impact.
