• In 1983, Departments of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics started teaching.
• In 1984, our faculty moved to Görükle campus.
•  In 1990, Departments of Philosophy, Sociology, History, and Turkish Language and Literature started teaching.
•  In 1993, Departments of Archeology & Art History and Philosophy were founded
• In 1999, Department of Archeology & Art History was divided into two separate departments.
• In 1999, Department of Art History started to accept students.
• In 2000, Department of Psychology started to accept students.
•  In 2008, Department of Archeology started to accept students.
•  In 2011, Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and Geography and Statistics were founded.
• In 2016, Department of Geography started to accept students.

Departments of  History and Turkish Language & Literature  offer evening education. Among 15 faculties of Uludağ University, the Faculty of Arts & Science has the largest number of programs which provide education with 13 daytime education and 2 evening education programs and it has about 6000 students, 208 academic staff, and 49 administrative personnel.
