Bursa Uludağ University, Faculty of Fine Arts, started education in the 2007-2008 academic year
with 20 students in the Department of Painting. The Department of Painting continues its
education and training activities in Görükle Campus. Students are accepted to our
department with Special Aptitude Examination. The Vision of the Department of Painting is
to be a Department that contributes to the increase of artistic and creative values in social
life with qualified publications, projects and artistic activities, as well as training artists and

designers who can produce original creative works required by a contemporary society in
the 21st century, constantly renewing and developing itself in line with the requirements of
the age, being an example with its graduates and being proud to be a member. The mission
of the Department of Painting is to train constructive, creative and distinguished artists who
can bring creative talents to a high level of efficiency, who can represent our country and
our University successfully at the international level, who have adopted the enlightenment
of Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, who have national and universal identity awareness,
who are tolerant, fair, who have assimilated the culture of democracy, who are sensitive,
analytical and critical thinkers, who have developed communication skills, who are at peace
with themselves and their environment. Workshops and Classroom Facilities, Theoretical
Classrooms, Basic Design Education Classroom, Computer Classroom, Painting Workshops,
Modeling Workshop, Perspective and Technical Drawing Classroom, Printmaking
Classroom.
