Tomasz Zarębski is a professor at the University of Lower Silesia, Wrocław, Poland, and the Editor-in Chief of the journal INSTEAD: INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES IN EDUCATION & SOCIETY. He earned his academic degrees (MA, PhD and habilitation) in philosophy, at the University of Wrocław. He deals mainly with the philosophy of language and its connection with cognitive sciences, but a part of his research concerns also the theory of argumentation, theory of rationality, pragmatism and neopragmatism. He is also interested in the philosophy of education as well as in interdisciplinary projects on philosophical ideas in children’s literature and on the studies of ethical climate in organisation.
