Within the scope of the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of the Family” in Turkey, a meaningful sports event was organized within the framework of Bursa Uludag University's (BUU) 50th anniversary celebrations.

The family-themed “BUKAM Orienteering Relay Race”, organized by Bursa Uludag University Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center (BUKAM) with the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of our University's 50th Anniversary activities, was held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 with intense participation. The event, which witnessed fun and competitive moments intertwined with nature, attracted great interest among the participants.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality also provided support for the event, demonstrating a meaningful example of university-local government cooperation. The members of the community, who volunteered to support the organization of the competition from the preparation process to the organization stage, made significant contributions to the successful implementation of the event.

Thanks to these contributions, students not only met with physical activities but also had the opportunity to develop team spirit and orientation skills.

At the end of the event, medals were presented to the participants for their contributions to the event, while the ranking teams were awarded trophies. In addition, students who provided voluntary support for the organization were given certificates of participation and thanked for their contributions.
