TÜBİTAK Project by First and Emergency Aid Program Students Presented at National Congress

A TÜBİTAK 2209-A project—conducted by second-year students Kübra ÜNAL, Emine AKGÜN, and Selen YILMAZ from our Vocational School’s First and Emergency Aid Program under the supervision of Lecturer Meryem ÜNÜLÜ—was featured in the program of the 1st National Health Services Congress.

At the congress, held under the auspices of the University of Health Sciences on June 5–6, 2026, our student and project lead Kübra ÜNAL delivered an oral presentation on the team's research, titled "The Effect of Using a Heimlich Training Vest within the Scope of Peer Education on the Knowledge Levels of Vocational School Students: A Randomized Controlled Study."

We congratulate the students and the supervising faculty member who contributed to the preparation and presentation of the project, and we wish them continued success in their academic endeavors.

Lecturer Dr. Derya ASLAN HUYAR
