"Course Plan Meetings" were held on April 20–22 and April 27, 2026, for relevant officials from Vocational Schools. These meetings were conducted through the collaboration of the Department of Student Affairs and the Vocational Schools Coordination Office (MEYOK) in response to the Council of Higher Education's initiative to expand vocational education in higher education—which launched an educational transformation across seven pilot provinces (Konya, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, Izmir, and Ankara)—and the upcoming transition of many of our university's associate degree programs to the "3+1 Applied Education Model" starting in the 2026–2027 academic year.
