The students and academic staff of the Medical Imaging Techniques program at Bursa Uludag University Vocational School of Health Services celebrated “November 8 World Radiology Day” with enthusiasm again this year. The event was held in the courtyard of the Vocational School of Health Services.

World Radiology Day, celebrated annually on November 8th around the world in commemoration of German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of X-rays on November 8, 1895, is organized to highlight the importance of radiology in healthcare services.

The celebration was attended by Prof. Dr. Sinan Çavun, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, the academic and administrative staff of the Vocational School, technicians from the Department of Radiology at Bursa Uludag University Hospital, graduates, and students of the Medical Imaging Techniques program.

Banners prepared by students and outdoor decorations gave the celebration area a colorful appearance.

At the end of the event, which aimed to increase the professional awareness of students in the Medical Imaging Techniques program, participants enjoyed pleasant moments accompanied by music and were served food and drinks.

Additionally, the Vocational School of Health Services administration and Medical Imaging Technology Program academic members also participated in the celebration held at the Department of Radiology at Bursa Uludag University, our internal stakeholder, as part of World Radiology Day.
