Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Bursa Uludağ University (BUU) has been awarded a 5-year full accreditation certificate following evaluations conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).

BUU successfully received the 5-year full accreditation certificate, one of the highest-level assessments in the field of quality assurance, issued by YÖKAK. As a result of the site visits conducted by the YÖKAK evaluation committee, BUÜ successfully met all the requirements of the quality assurance system and was declared a "Fully Accredited" university by the board's decision dated July 18, 2025.

THE RESULT OF SYSTEMATIC AND DECISIVE EFFORT
Commenting on the achievement, BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz said, "The accreditation certificate received is an indication that the leadership, governance and quality, education-training, research-development, and social contribution processes at our university have developed within the framework of a continuous improvement culture and comply with international higher education standards. This success is the result of the systematic and determined work realized since 2023 with all our units, academic, administrative staff, students, and external stakeholders."

Rector Yılmaz emphasized that full accreditation strengthens the university's quality culture and institutional structure, saying, "We have been implementing our quality assurance system effectively and sustainably for many years. As a result of this commitment, we have achieved valuable results and succeeded in spreading the quality culture throughout the university. With this certificate, the diploma of every student graduating from our university will become even more valuable and will serve as a strong reference for candidate students. I wholeheartedly thank all my team members, especially our Quality Coordinator, for their contributions to the achievement of this five-year full accreditation certificate."
