The activities under Phase 2 of the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP), which is being implemented in collaboration with UNIDO with TÜBİTAK as the executing agency, will continue in 2025. Other stakeholders in the program include the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.  In Phase 2 of the project, in addition to transforming clean technology solutions into innovative entrepreneurs through accelerators and competitions, the aim is to prepare clean technology entrepreneurs for the national and global market through technology validation and investment readiness components.
Applications for the GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator programme will be accepted between 16 April 2025 and 28 May 2025. The deadline for applications is 28 May 2025 at 23:59.

The categories for which applications will be accepted are as follows:

5. Environmentally Friendly Buildings

Awards to be presented by TÜBİTAK under the GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator Programme

At the conclusion of the GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator, the winning teams will be supported by various awards from TÜBİTAK. The awards provided by TÜBİTAK are as follows:

• First prize: 600,000 TL

• Second prize: 450,000 TL

• Third place prize: 300,000 TL

Additionally, the 10 most successful teams reaching the final stage of the GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator programme will be eligible for various additional points advantages from TÜBİTAK TEYDEB support.

GCIP 2025 Turkey Accelerator: Special Support for Women Entrepreneurs from the Ministry of Family and Social Services!

The GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator Programme aims to increase the success of women entrepreneurs in the clean technology sector through specialized accelerator activities targeting women entrepreneurs working in the clean technology field.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services, in collaboration with TÜBİTAK, will provide support to our female entrepreneurs in the following categories:

• Support for Women Entrepreneurs Leading the Way in Social Impact: 275,000 TL

• Innovative Women Entrepreneur Support: 275,000 TL

• Best Female Entrepreneur Support Showing the Most Development: 275,000 TL

• Support for Young Women Entrepreneurs: 275,000 TL

The Investment Readiness and Globalization module for Women Entrepreneurs in the Clean Technology Sector will be implemented with the aim of increasing the commercial performance of products developed by our female entrepreneurs operating in the clean technology sector within the scope of their ventures in the 2025 GCIP Turkey Accelerator, preparing them for investment, and opening them up to the global market. Teams selected from among those chosen for the GCIP Accelerators, where one of the founders is a woman or at least one senior manager is a woman, will be eligible to participate in this module. 

Under the Investment Readiness and Globalization Module for Women Entrepreneurs in the Clean Technology Sector, the investment readiness levels of the ventures will be assessed by experts through a multi-dimensional evaluation. Specialist mentors will be assigned to teams based on their specific needs in areas open to development, and masterclasses and investor meetings will be held.

Call for Proposals for the Inclusive Green Transition Accelerator under the Project to Support the Inclusion of Migrants in Turkey's Transition to a Green Economy!

Under the "Project to Support the Inclusion of Migrants in Turkey's Transition to a Green Economy," conducted in collaboration between TÜBİTAK and UNIDO and financed by the Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF), the "Inclusive Green Transition Accelerator 2025 Call," designed with inspiration from the GCIP Turkey accelerator, will be launched simultaneously with the GCIP Turkey 2025 Call, and applications will be accepted within the same timeframe. 

The Inclusive Green Transition Accelerator Call is open to technology-based innovative solutions that aim to achieve environmentally friendly, sustainable, and climate-neutral societies.

Teams selected for the accelerator following panel evaluations under the GCIP Turkey 2025 Accelerator and Inclusive Green Transition Accelerator 2025 Calls will have the opportunity to develop their innovative business ideas in the field of clean technologies by receiving various training and mentoring services at the GCIP Turkey 2025 National Academy to be held in July 2025. Teams selected for the accelerator will participate in online training provided by The Network for Global Innovation (NGIN), GCIP's global partner responsible for accelerator training, between July and November 2025. Activities carried out by each team within the scope of the required work files during the training will be monitored by mentors who provide support in general and thematic areas assigned to each team.
