The Department Management of Automotive Engineering at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Engineering continues its academic support activities in line with its vision of inter-university knowledge and experience sharing. Within this scope, our Department Head Prof. Dr. Gökhan SEVİLGEN and Vice Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre İsa ALBAK attended the "Project Training Seminar" organized at Mudanya University as guest speakers to share their valuable expertise.
The seminar, which drew high attendance from Mudanya University faculty members, comprehensively covered the preparation, application, and management processes of academic research projects.
In the first part of the seminar, our Department Head Prof. Dr. Gökhan SEVİLGEN shared detailed information regarding the support mechanisms of TÜBİTAK, the European Union (EU), and Scientific Research Projects (BAP). Presenting the critical dynamics of drafting a successful project proposal and process management in light of his own academic journey, Prof. Dr. Gökhan SEVİLGEN also provided briefings on the infrastructure, ongoing projects, and operational models of the Battery Technologies Research and Development Platform for Electric Vehicles (BATEG) Laboratory, which carries out pioneering national and international studies within our department.
Following the program, our Vice Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre İsa ALBAK focused on the processes of Scientific Research Projects (BAP), which hold a vital position in the scientific research ecosystem of universities. Through a detailed presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre İsa ALBAK informed the audience about the administrative and academic aspects to be considered during the application criteria, budgeting, execution, and conclusion phases of BAP projects.
Aimed at contributing to the research potential of Mudanya University academics, the interactive seminar concluded with a Q&A session where participants' questions were answered, followed by mutual expressions of goodwill and cooperation.
