We commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk—the founder of the Republic of Turkey, our Commander-in-Chief, and our Head Teacher—with respect, gratitude, and an unceasing longing on the 87th anniversary of his passing into eternity.
November 10th, beyond being a day of mourning for our nation, is a day of remembrance when we refresh our determination to protect the Republic, which he called "my greatest masterpiece," and the immortal principles he bequeathed to us, with an unbreakable bond.
Atatürk's words, "The truest guide in life is science and knowledge," are the fundamental guide for us as the OYAÇ Vocational School family. On this path illuminated by him, our most essential duty is to raise well-equipped, productive, and patriotic generations who will contribute to our country's industrial and technological drive, based on an understanding rooted in reason, science, and modern education.
We will continue to work with all our strength to bring the Turkish youth—whom he pointed to by saying, "All my hope is in the youth"—to the goals he set.
With these feelings and thoughts, we once again commemorate our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his heroic comrades-in-arms with mercy and gratitude on the 87th anniversary of his departure from us.
May his soul rest in peace.
