An Information Seminar On Domestic Violence Was Held At Oyac Vocational School

An informational seminar titled “Domestic Violence and Ways of Protection” was held at Bursa Uludağ University Orhangazi Yeniköy Asil Çelik Vocational School (OYAÇ MYO) by the Orhangazi District Social Service Center Directorate.

In the seminar, comprehensive information was shared about the types and causes of domestic violence, its societal effects, and the legal and psychosocial support mechanisms available to victims of violence.

Expert speakers emphasized the importance of students gaining awareness on this issue, pointing out that violence has not only physical dimensions but also emotional, economic, and psychological ones.

At the end of the event, the OYAÇ MYO administration thanked the Orhangazi District Social Service Center Directorate for their contributions and stated that similar awareness-raising activities play an important role in increasing students' social sensitivity.
