The Submission Deadline for Summer Internship Documents Has Been Updated.

Students who will undertake a summer internship must first complete the survey available at the link below so that an academic advisor can be assigned to receive their internship documents and conduct their internship interview upon completion. The survey must be completed no later than 11 June 2026 at 23:59 in order for advisor assignments to be made.

Required Documents for the Internship Application

  • Practical Training (Internship) Application Form (2 copies)

  • Saturday Work Certificate (if applicable)

Two copies of the Practical Training (Internship) Application Form must be prepared. Both copies must bear the original (wet) signature of the authorized company representative. (The application form must be completed in accordance with the dates specified below and taking public holidays into consideration.)

After preparing the two copies of the Practical Training (Internship) Application Form and, if the company operates on Saturdays, the Saturday Work Certificate, these documents must be submitted to your assigned advisor. Documents may be submitted to the advisor between 15 June 2026 and 7 July 2026.

Once the internship application documents have been reviewed and approved by the advisor, they must be submitted to the Social Security (SGK) Office. One copy of the Practical Training (Internship) Application Form must be left at the SGK Office, while the other approved copy must be submitted in person to your advisor.

Deadline for submitting documents to the advisor: 7 July 2026

All students may begin their internships no earlier than Monday, 13 July 2026.

Important Reminders

  • The summer internship must last at least 10 working days.

  • Students undertaking an internship for the first time are recommended to complete a construction site internship.

  • Both required internships may be completed as construction site internships, or one may be completed in an office and the other at a construction site.

  • Internships may not be carried out in workplaces owned or supervised by individuals who are related to the student by blood or marriage.
