Industry Experiences In The Classroom

As part of the event titled “Industry Experiences in the Classroom,” Dr. Sevginaz Işık hosted Dr. Elif Boz Ulutaş, Head of Planning, Programming and Coordination at BEBKA (Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency), in the Regional Economics elective course on May 15, 2025.

Dr. Ulutaş delivered a comprehensive presentation on the role of development agencies in regional planning processes and shared insights from her institutional experience. The event attracted significant interest from students and proved highly productive, as it offered not only theoretical knowledge but also practical field-based perspectives. Following the presentation, a short quiz was held, giving students the opportunity to test their knowledge. Our student Ayşe Akkaş, who ranked first in the quiz, was awarded a book by Dr. Ulutaş, concluding the event on a pleasant note.
