Research Assistant Şükran Sungur from our university successfully completed her academic internship at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in Spain between April 12 and May 15, 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ Doctoral Traineeship Mobility Program.
During her internship, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcos Román González, Research Assistant Sungur designed various educational activities aimed at introducing quantum physics concepts to middle school students as part of her doctoral research.
Educational Activities Presented to Experts in the Field
The educational activities developed during the internship were presented and discussed at a special seminar held at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Gregorio Robles, Prof. Dr. Estefanía Martín, Asst. Prof. Dr. María Zapata Cáceres, and doctoral student Yaneth Huertas.
During the seminar, participants exchanged valuable ideas on the suitability of the designed activities for middle school students and their potential contributions to science education.
We congratulate our Research Assistant Şükran Sungur on her valuable academic work at the international level and wish her continued success in her future studies.
