Upon the invitation of the Chair of the Board of Çakır Schools, Mr. Cem Çakır, and the Founder Representative, Ms. Bahar Çakır, faculty members of Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Education paid a visit to Çakır Schools on January 12, 2026.

The visit was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Salih Çepni; Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Nagihan Oğuz Duran; Head of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Ezentas; Head of the Department of Science Education, Prof. Dr. Nermin Ulunuz; Head of the Department of Foreign Language Education, Prof. Dr. Amanda Yeşilbursa; and Vice Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Zeren Özer.

During the visit, discussions were held on strengthening university–school partnerships, effective teaching practices, and the reflections of international programs, particularly the International Baccalaureate (IB), on educational environments. Within the scope of the program, achievements attained through the International Baccalaureate Program were shared, and the preschool, primary school, middle school, and high school levels were visited. Classroom environments were examined on site, and direct interaction with students was facilitated.

The visit was regarded by administrators and faculty members as an important step toward developing high-quality collaborations in education. We would like to thank the administration of Çakır Schools for their kind invitation and warm hospitality.
