Hosted by the Family Institute of the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye, the International Family and Population Conference is the international academic opening event of the Decade of Family and Population (2026-2035). To be held in İstanbul on 26-27 October 2026, the Conference aims to address developments in the fields of family and population within a comparative, interdisciplinary and evidence-based framework, and to establish a platform for international academic cooperation that brings together researchers, academics, experts and policymakers and remains open to learning from the experiences of different countries. To this end, national and international researchers, academics and experts working in the field of family and population are invited to submit papers to the Conference.
