Our Department Continues To Graduate Phd Students

Our department continues to graduate PhD Students.

Engin Demir, a PhD student in our Computer Engineering Department, has successfully completed his doctoral thesis defense, becoming the third PhD graduate of our department.

Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Bilgin, Demir successfully defended his thesis before the jury. His work, titled "Detection of Coreferences and Zero Coreferences in Turkish Sentences using Transformer-Based Language Models and Large Language Models," addresses one of the most current topics in the fields of artificial intelligence and natural language processing.

By focusing on the application of advanced artificial intelligence technologies to the Turkish language, this innovative study makes a significant contribution to the literature in the field.

In light of this proud milestone, which once again demonstrates our department's educational quality and research potential in graduate studies, we wholeheartedly congratulate our 3rd PhD graduate, Engin Demir, and his esteemed advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Bilgin. We wish our graduate continued success in his future academic and professional career.
